What are the benefits of visiting a showroom?
We know that the best description in the world cannot come close to experiencing one of our systems in person. This is why, if you can, we’d always encourage you to come and visit us at one of our showroom locations. You’ll be able to experience first-hand what it would be like living with a smart system – whether that’s in your home or your business premises.
See how everything just works, without you having to fiddle with buttons or an app for ages. The lighting will automatically come on, the room will be at the perfect temperature, music will automatically be brought on when you enter the room (although in the showroom, it will be our music choice… apologies in advance) and much more. You probably can picture this but over the years, we’ve seen countless customers’ eyes light up once they experience a showroom.
Although the app and switches aren’t always needed with our systems, you’ll have the chance to play around with them nonetheless. You can turn off our music and play your favourite track, you can raise the blinds, and you can even create your own custom lighting mood.
Loxone UK’s Official Showroom
Considering how impactful visiting a showroom is you can imagine how proud we were to be the official Partner chosen to design and install the system at Loxone UK’s official showroom. Loxone is the manufacturer of the products and software that we use to create our systems. They’re a global company with over 400 employees and 200,000+ systems across the world. So for them to trust us with their own official showroom says a lot!

Loxone UK’s official showroom is certainly something to behold. Not only is it the largest showroom of its kind in the country, but it’s also home to the UK Loxonauts (Loxone UK) team. Therefore the brief was twofold, to create a space where customers could experience the systems in person but also provide a productive working environment for the employees.

The building is used by both employees and customers, so we created flexible access control that lets us limit access to certain areas based on the user. We also made sure that employees can use the same key fob they use to get into the building to access locked lockers and cabinets in the office.

To give you the best overview of what can be done for you we also have the ability to take you on a Digital Experience Tour. A Digital Experience Tour or DET, is an interactive video tour of a smart home where multiple features are demonstrated. So what is so special about that? Well, not only will you be watching the video, you’ll be experiencing the features in tandem with the video. When the lights turn on in the video, the lights in the room will turn on. When the blinds are raised in the video, the blinds will raise in the room. And when the music comes on in the video, guess what… music will come on in the room.
A Digital Experience Tour is a great way for you to experience multiple features in a short amount of time, with the added content of the video to give you an explanation and overview of how they would work.
